Hyams Beach

Hyams is a the most popular beach in Jervis Bay and if you like sharing your beach with thousands of tourists, this is the place to come. The whitest sand in the world is pure marketing spin and is not, nor has it ever been, true. Also - the beach that everyone calls Hyams Beach is actually Seamans Beach - Hyams Beach is the little 200m stretch of sand to the north where the boat ramp is! Like many of the beaches in Jervis Bay, this one's best visited out of season and definitely not during the summer holidays. Even in the depths of winter the tourists flock here, stand on the sand, take a selfie and then trudge back to their buses to go the next location. Lovely, but over-loved.
